How DentalVibe Works
DentalVibe is a small, hand-held device that employs vibration to block the sensation of pain. Using DentalVibe, Dr. Truong can administer local anesthetic with accuracy, and the patient feels little or no sensation. With this system, many routine procedures require less anesthetic, which decreases the potential for lingering post-procedure numbness. For our younger patients, Dr. Truong uses special, child-sized tips. The DentalVibe system also comes with a line of animal finger puppets to distract and entertain children while an injection is being administered.
