Dr. Mo Wants to Help Your Smile
We are so happy to welcome Dr. Mo to our team, a board-certified orthodontist with years of experience. Dr. Mo even started his own orthodontic practice with Wink Orthodontics. He has years of experience in helping patients on their journey to an even smile, whether that includes braces, lingual braces, or even clear aligner systems. If you or a member of your family has an uneven smile, then talk to our team.
Braces
If you have a more severe case of dental misalignment, then our team could provide even results with metal braces. With this option, our team will attach metal brackets to the front-facing side of each tooth, and then connect a portion of a thin arch wire to each bracket with a band. In some cases, additional bands may be used to connect the upper and lower sets of braces. When you see Dr. Mo and our team, we will adjust tension in these wires to help shift the teeth into their optimal positions. This option takes about two years to see optimal results. For a more cosmetic approach, we could offer the lingual option, in which the brackets and wires are actually connected to the rear of the teeth, invisible when you smile. Our team can examine your smile and discuss your preferences to see which is best for your smile.
Invisalign®
Our team could also offer a clear path to smile correction with Invisalign®. With this option, Dr. Mo and our team will take detailed images of your smile, which will be used in a lab setting to design and craft your aligners from a BPA-free plastic material. You then receive a series of these and can start your treatment. Instead of braces, you simply wear a set of clear aligners for 20 to 23 hours a day on average, and do so for about two weeks. You then begin wearing the next set for the same amount of time, seeing optimal results in as little as one year!
